Stealth tanks are named by Kane 'Ezekiel's Wheel', after the biblical prophet's vision. The Global Defense Initiative researched the stealth tank properties, as part of project A2411.5. Unfortunately, as stealth tanks mount both missile launchers and a stealth generator onto a tank frame, to avoid sacrificing speed or increasing costs beyond any reasonable limit, stealth tanks are lightly armoured. The stealth tanks of the First Tiberium War are a Nod tracked missile carrier, equipped with a Lazarus shield that allows them to cloak nearly instantenously and disappear from sight.
